SILID

In this project, we revisualized the learning environment with comfortability in mind.  Comfort within the spaces highly affects the level of learning.  As places where critique, collaboration and problem solving come together, this project is made to inspire future generations of architects and designers. We created a design that manifests a distinct process with a diverse set of spatial and formal approaches that embody architectural education. It is a school that create layered, blended, and personalized spaces that support a variety of interactions.

“Silid” is a Filipino term for room. Our project, “SILID”, is an architecture school that provides a space conducive for learning and studying, but also serve as a teaching tool by illustrating some of the basic tenets of modern architecture. Showcases the Filipino design where continuous sightlines throughout the facade and encourage the sense of peripheral vision for students and faculty.
